Christopher Schneberger (b. 1970) is a Chicago-based photographer. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Exhibitions include: The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art and the Annenberg Space for Photography, both in Los Angeles; Dorsky Projects in New York City; Geocarto International in Hong Kong; and Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece. His work is in the collections of: The Art Institute of Chicago; the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia; the Mary and Leigh Block Museum in Evanston, Illinois; and the Flanders Gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is two-time recipient of an Illinois Arts Council individual artist grant. He is currently Assistant Professor of photography at Vincennes University where he is also Director of the Shircliff Gallery of Art. Previously he was adjunct faculty at The School of the Art Institute, Columbia College Chicago, and the College of DuPage. He is a founder and past Board President of Perspective Gallery where he was a member from its inception until 2021. He has curated numerous exhibitions of photography including Heirloom, Bending the Truth, Realms, This Particular Patch, and Re:Place. He has been a presenter at the Society for Photographic Education’s Midwest and Southeast regional conferences, and a visiting artist at numerous colleges including Iowa State University, Indiana University, Kendall College of Art, and Western Michigan University. He holds a BFA from the University of Florida and an MFA from Indiana University. He is also the drummer for the band Moon
