<a href="../images/portraitL.jpg" target="_top"><img src="../images/portraitS.jpg" height=128 width=90 border=1 alt="portrait" align=right></a> <font face="garamond, new york, times" size=3> My name is Christopher Schneberger. I'm an artist, musician, filmmaker, and teacher. I currently live in Chicago, Illinois, where I've been since 1997. My primary medium right now could be considered photography and installation. I teach at <a href="http://www.colum.edu/photo">Columbia College</a> in Chicago, and I am the department head of the Digital Arts and Photography program at <a href="http://www.lillstreet.com">Lillstreet Art Center</a>.<p> I make photographs and mixed media artwork which I exhibit both locally, nationally, and internationally. Recent exhibitions have included <a href="http://www.dorsky.org">Dorsky Gallery</a> in New York City, <a href="http://sites.google.com/site/workspacegallery/home/about-workspace-gallery">Workspace Gallery</a> in Omaha, and <a href="http://www.annenbergspaceforphotography.org">The Annenberg Space for Photography</a> in Los Angeles. I'm represented by Printrworks Gallery in Chicago. I'm a founding member of <a href="http://www.perspectivegallery.org">Perspective Gallery</a> in Evanston, Illinois, a non-profit gallery of fine art photography. I also play drums in a band called <a href="http://www.mysapce.com/moon" target=new>Moon</a>. I've also made a few short films and hope to continue working with film and digital video.<p> My other interests include travel, cinema, sports, and the band Rush.
